FLORENCE’s Obituary FLORENCE MARY HUSKEY LONG; 100, NATIVE OF LOGAN CO. , KY; WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE SAM HUSKEY AND IDA BELL BLAND. FLORENCE WAS MARRIED TO THE LATE HENRY CLAY LONG.

SHE WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF CRITTENDEN DRIVE CHURCH OF CHRIST IN RUSSELLVILLE SINCE AN EARLY AGE. WHILE ATTENDING SHE WAS ALSO ON THE MOTHER’S BOARD. FLORENCE DID DOMESTIC WORK FOR MANY YEARS.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF ADAIRVILLE. IN HER SPARE TIME, BEFORE HER HEALTH BEGAN TO DECLINE, SHE ENJOYED FISHING AND PLAYING BALL. FLORENCE MARY LONG PASSED AWAY ON FEBRUARY 28, 2019 AT BOWLING GREEN NURSING AND REHAB.

ALONG WITH HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY SIBLINGS, WILLIE TAYLOR; REV. CLARA HUGHES; LENA MAE POSEY; BEATRICE GATEWOOD ALLEN; HATTIE GILBERT.
