OBITUARY Florence Whetstone August 31, 1920 – January 4, 2019 Florence T. Whetstone, 98, passed away Jan. 4, 2019. Florence was a kind, compassionate woman who put her husband, home, and her seven children first.

She was a natural born nurturer and was extremely patient. Florence spent many years working as a child care provider. She enjoyed word search, puzzles and mending clothes for others.

She is preceded in death by husband, Roy R. Whetstone; sons, Richard and Roy D. Whetstone. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Howard, Renae Whetstone, Patti (David) Paul, Mary Sumner, Diana Whetstone; as well as numerous grand, great, and great-great grandchildren. An open viewing will take place Thurs.

Jan. 10, from 9-5 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Her Rosary Service at 7 pm Thurs.

Jan 10, and Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Fri. Jan 11, 2019 will both be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
