Forrest’s Obituary Forrest Ray Kline (“Brut” to many), of Grove City passed away January 17, 2019. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Vicie and Forrest Kline. He was a 1950 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a 1959 graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design (formerly the Columbus Art School) and a veteran of the Korean War, having served active duty with the Navy.

He worked in the Art profession for many years in Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Columbus, most recently retiring from Battelle Memorial Institute and Columbus College of Art & Design. In addition he was founder of and consultant for the Grove City Art Concern. He was a committed artist and jazz enthusiast.

Preceded in death by beloved wife of 57 years Jacqueline Kline, parents Forrest and Vicie Kline, and sister Frieda Roe. He is survived by daughters Jenny M. Lucas of Grove City and Laura Craft of Upper Arlington; grandchildren Jack Craft, Cody Kappes, Alison Kappes, and Kelly Craft; brother Clarence Kline (Linda) of Florida; sister-in-law Jane Hammond of Grove City. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City.
