Frances A. Gravel of Sanborn, NY, passed away on May 13, 2019. She was born in Punxsutawney on October 13, 1935, daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Conway) Gooder. Frances enjoyed fishing, going to Florida in the winter and most of all, spending time with her family.

She was the wife of 63 years to Jack B. Gravel, who passed away February 27, 2019. Survived by two sons Gerald “Jerry” and Mark (Chris Callen) Gravel, two granddaughters Ashleigh (Corey) Scherrer and Kelly Gravel, one great granddaughter Riley Scherrer, also a niece and nephew. Frances was the mother of the late Linda Gravel, mother-in-law of the late Lisa Gravel and sister of the late Edward Gooder.

Family will be present on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
