OBITUARY Frances Owenby June 3, 1932 – November 29, 2018 Frances Owenby, age 86, of Woodstock, GA, was called home on November 29, 2018. Frances was a woman of God and enjoyed attending Greers Chapel Baptist Church. She was involved in the Greers Chapel Gongs.

Mrs. Owenby was also heavily involved with the Little General Cloggers of Kennesaw, with whom she traveled all over the US with. Baseball was Frances’ favorite sport and she particularly enjoyed watching The Braves play. Frances Owenby will forever be remembered as a graceful and poised woman who had a great love and passion for her grandchildren.

Frances Owenby has been reunited with her husband, James Edward Owenby; sisters, Louis Myers and her husband Dan, Pug Freeman and her husband Roy; brothers-in-law, JC Cantrell, and Ben Bryant. Mary leaves to cherish in her memory, her son James David Owenby; daughter-in-law, Michele Johnson; sisters, Grace Cantrell, Tootsie Chance and her husband Bobby, Linda Bryant, Sue Donahoo; grandsons, Michael David Owenby, Christian James Owenby; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor the great life of Frances Owenby will be held at Greers Chapel.
