Frances R. Bradshaw, 74, of Church Creek passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born on July 28, 1944 at Henry’s Crossroads below Vienna Maryland, and was a daughter of the late Powell and Maude Dayton Horsman. Mrs. Bradshaw was a 1962 graduate of North Dorchester High School.

In 1964, she married Leroy Bradshaw. She worked for Herbert Hearn Hardware as a book keeper, was a home maker for a number of years and then worked 27 years as a custodian with her husband at South Dorchester K-8. She is survived by her husband Leroy Bradshaw of Church Creek, two sons Tom Bradshaw (Donna) of Reids Grove and Michael Bradshaw (Candice) of Mardela Springs, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother in law William Bradshaw and wife Mary Lee of Vienna, a sister in law Kay Bradshaw of Golden Hill and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her two brothers David S. and Walter P. Horsman and a sister Doris (Dotty) Gray and a brother in law Lloyd Bradshaw. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Rev. Barbara Mills Neighoff officiating.

Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Horsman Murphy Willey Cemetery Fund, c/o Hebron Savings Bank, P.O. Box 158, Vienna, MD or to the Golden Hill Seniors, c/o Kay Bradshaw, 3503 Golden Hill Road, Church Creek, MD 21622.
