Francis’ Obituary Francis A. Widener, 91 of Philadelphia, passed away on January 31, 2019. He was the loving husband of 70 years of Josephine Widener. Francis was a Philadelphia fireman, a World War 2 vet, and a union carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Florence Doerr, and Mary Cantwell. Besides his wife Francis is survived by his son: Frank (Cathy) Widener; granddaughter Kaitlyn (Brandon) Massaro; great-granchild: Nicholas Massaro; and his brother William Widener. Family and friends are invited to call starting at 10:30 AM on February 11, 2019 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA.

19053. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 AM also at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel. Inurnment will be held at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery at 1:30 PM on February 11, 2019.
