Frank Hoog, 59, of Grain Valley,Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019, following a battle with cancer. Frank was born on on June 8, 1959, the son of Dr. Frank Hoog and Harriet (Hammond) Hoog. Frank was married to Karen Kriegshauser and to this union two children were born, Jaime Renee and Amber Lynn.

Frank was a 1977 graduate of Kirksville Senior High, attended Moberly Junior College and Northeast Missouri State University. He worked as a respiratory therapist , starting at KOH, Department Head in Iowa, and various hospitals, ending in Kansas City where he made his home. He left the healthcare field and worked as a trim carpenter and painter before playing a big role in Valley View Construction and Frank’s Painting, his company.

Frank was an avid reader. He was both “street smart” and “book smart” and could accomplish all he endeavored from witching water, to complex math, to motocross competitions, to running his own business. An outdoorsman, Frank loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed arrowhead hunting.

He had a special connection to animals and was a natural horseman. Above all, he loved and cherished his daughters. He was exceptionally proud of their accomplishments.
