On Monday, November 26, 2018, Francis “Frank” Benham Vigezzi, joined his beloved wife Marlene Weber Vigezzi in Heaven. Frank was born on December 19, 1931 and raised in Great Barrington, Mass. In 1953 he graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Master of Science in Structural and Construction Engineering.

He then proudly served his country and is a veteran after serving in the US Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War. Prior to moving to Macomb in 2017. He and his wife Marlene had been residents of Vienna, VA and members of the St. Mark’s Catholic Church for over 30 years.

They had lived around the United States because of Frank’s work with AT&T, where he was an executive for 45 years, prior to his retirement. He was the proud father of 5 children and their families: Lawrence and Nancy Vigezzi of NH, Michael Vigezzi and Eve LaRiviere of CT and Montreal Canada, Edward and Kathy Vigezzi of MD, John and Sally Vigezzi of IL and daughter Lisa Vigezzi Clark of NC. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Daniel, Salome’, Scarlet, Stephanie, Joseph, Jaquelyn, Timothy, William, Claire, and Dianna and 3 Great-grandchildren Briar, Camden and Bryson.

Frank was an active member of the Vienna Host Lions Club where he was recognized as their Lion of the Year three times and he also received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for his volunteerism and was a member of the American Legion Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 in Vienna VA. One of his greatest joy and loves in life was his spending time with wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will miss them but has promised to always watch over them with Marlene.

A remembrance gathering will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Vienna VA at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Host Lions Club of Vienna. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
