Obituary for Francis “Jim” McGovern Francis “Jim” McGovern, 76, of Camp Hill passed away June 21, 2018 with his loving wife and family by his side. He was the husband of Barbara A (Morgan) McGovern and had celebrated 54 years of marriage. He attended Nativity B.V.M. High School and later joined the United States Army and served from 1958-1962 and was stationed in Korea and Germany.

Jim was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Pottsville/ Camp Hill, West End Hose Company, and Amvets post 180 Pottsville. Surviving in addition to his wife Barbara, are his children Michael (wife Lynne), Kelly (companion Bill), Lori (husband Glenn), and James. Grandchildren Mark, Jeffrey, Michael, Brittani, Brian, Brianna, Tory, Shannon, Sierra, James Jr, Dakota, Donovan, Vincent, and Patrick.

Great-Grandchildren Jaela, Rhyley, Kohnnyr, Xennah, Irelynn, Damian, Gabriella, and Elijah. He was the son of the late James P McGovern and Madeline T (Bean) McGovern of Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Central PA- hospicecentralpa.org or mailed to 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg PA 17100.
