Obituary for Francis “Joe” Brandstetter Francis “Joe” Brandstetter entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 78 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Baudean Brandstetter and his children Connie Brandstetter LeBlanc (Melroy), Patty Brandstetter Toups, Michael Brandstetter (Shellie), and Kelley Brandstetter:(Lenny). Grandfather of Lindsey Nicole LeBlanc, Cody LeBlanc, Jordan LeBlanc, Joeb Toups, Jace Brandstetter and Brice Savoie.

Brother of Edith Shoemaker, Clara Brandstetter and Warren Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis J. Brandstetter and Edith Brandstetter, his step-sisters, Mary Ellen Haas and Lorraine Romero. Joe was an amateur boxer, fighting at Gretna Recreation under the guidance of Tony King, he won the SAAU Bantaweight Championship in 1965.

He made many trips with the AAU for boxing matches. He was the owner of West Jefferson Heating and A/C for 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1pm. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9am until 1pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
