Mrs. Cruz was born August 21, 1928 to Everardo & Geronima Sanchez in Edinburg, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Miguel Angel Cruz; 2 sons, Ramon Cruz, Toribio Cruz; 2 brothers, Felix Sanchez, Armando Sanchez & 1 sister, Adela Murillo.

Mrs. Cruz is survived by 2 daughters, Maria Estela Cruz of Mercedes, TX, Rosalinda Cuellar of Victoria, TX; 3 sons, Angel Cruz of Clute, TX, Rolando Cruz of Long Beach, CA, Orlando Cruz of Mercedes, TX; 1 brother, Esteban Sanchez of La Blanca, TX & 3 sisters, Juana Lopez of Edinburg, TX, Cresencia Maldonado of San Carlos, TX & Clara Vela of La Blanca, TX. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren & 8 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Miguel Polanco, Orlando Cruz, Jr., Mark A. Cruz, Rodolfo A. Cruz, Alberto Cuellar, Jr. & Alejandro Miguel Cuellar.

Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave. , Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
