Frank E. DiCello, 89, of New Kensington passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born June 15, 1929, in New Kensington to the late Joseph and Rose (Costanzo) DiCello. He was a 1947 graduate of Ken-High.

Frank served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and also worked as a retail salesman of specialty men’s clothing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary M. Capello DiCello; his brother John Discello(cq); his son, Mark A. (Diane) DiCello of Florida; and his grandchildren Carli and Dominic DiCello.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Angelo DiCello. Visitation will be Friday Nov. 2 from 5 to 7pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD.

, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday Nov. 3 at 9:30am in Mount Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may contribute to Frank’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 600 Waterfront Dr. Ste. 210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or online at stjude.org/donate.
