Frank J. Shubert, 78, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Frank was born February 26, 1940 and was a loving and devoted husband of 58 years, who is survived by his wife, Linda Ann Shubert. The two shared a love of adventure.

Both were explorers at heart and they would often be found in the Great Smokey Mountains scouting Cade’s Cove and surrounding areas. He worked as a surveyor with Patton Land Surveying LLC of Gainesville, GA approximately 20 years. His work allowed him to immerse himself in what he loved, the outdoors.

His stories of childhood and youth, his shared wisdom attained over the years, and the devoted love Frank had toward his family are treasures that will be counted in years to come. Frank was preceded in death by his by his mother and father, Harve J. and Ara Hayes Shubert; four brothers, Clarence, William Clyde (Buddy), Charles, and Bobby; four sisters, Clarabelle Kidd, Mary Frances Higgins, Jessie Fay Mobley, and Geraldine Smith. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews; including Jason Daniel Young and Kimberly Clark Dean, whom he loved as his own.
