OBITUARY Frank Jones March 20, 1938 – October 13, 2018 Jesse “Frank” Jones, age 80, passed away Saturday evening, October 13, 2018 at Courtland Terrace. Frank was born March 20, 1938 in Clover, South Carolina to the late Howard and Marie Jones. Frank was the owner and manager of Jones’ Upholstery Shop before retiring.

Frank was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Gastonia North Carolina. He enjoyed watching all sporting events on television. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sister: Nell Jones Gaddis and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall B. Jones. A Life Well Celebrated Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with Reverend Greg Ballard delivering words of comfort and hope to Frank’s family and friends. Graveside and committal service will follow in the Garden of Luke at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia.

Guests will be received from 1:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM prior to the service. A word of thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff at Courtland Terrace for the loving care and attention given to Frank. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be given in Frank’s memory to Courtland Terrace, 2300 Aberdeen Blvd.
