Obituary for Frank Palomba Frank Palomba, 88 of Eltingville, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born in Brooklyn, Frank married his wife Marie in 1957 and they moved to Staten Island in 1964. They raised their 3 children Frank, Thomas and Suzanne.

Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was active from 1951 til 1953. He then went on to work as a pattern maker in the fashion and garment industry.

He worked for several companies in New York City over his career. His hobbies favorite pastime was working on cars in his garage. He was known as Mr. Fix-it to his family members and friends.

His neighbors always knew who to ask for help. He was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. He is survived by his wife Marie, his Son Thomas (Diane), daughter Suzanne Palomba-Martin (Steve), his brothers Vincent, Gabriel and Louis, and his 2 granddaughters Julie and Beth.

Frank was predeceased by his son Frank in 2016 and his brothers Anthony and Pal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Arrangements Include Private Cremation.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
