Obituary for Vincent W. Pisciotti Vincent W. Pisciotti, 85 of Castleton Corners, formerly of Monroe,New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Seaview Hosp. Home & Rehab. Center.

Born Wednesday, July 13, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, He was the devoted son of the late Alphonso and Anna Pisciotti. Vincent a US Navy veteran and a retired firefighter for the FDNY, Started his Public Safety Career as a NYC Police Officer, transferring over to FDNY after two years on the force. After retiring from the FDNY, Vincent went onto working for the former Brooklyn Union Gas Company.

A member of the Knights of Columbus, the Italian/ American Club of Monroe and the Emerald Society Vincent lived a fruitful life with his wife, children and grandchildren, Vincent was a skilled Carpenter, loved woodworking and was always active, enjoying Bowling and Softball games with the FDNY team. He loved Bocce, swimming, walking, and running. Vincent dabbled in wine making, but more than anything cherished his time with his family and friends.

He was a parishioner of The Nativity of Our Lord Church in Monroe, NJ Beloved husband of Celeste (Nee Scali) Pisciotti. Loving father of Stephen Pisciotti and Donna Chaplin. Dear father in law of Michele Pisciotti and the late Henry Chaplin.

Cherished grandfather of Alyssa Kenniff and husband Steven, Krysta, Erica Zocco and husband Matthew, Cristina, and Vincent. Doting great grandfather of Henry James. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Our Lady Star of The Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312.

Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg, NJ. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Donations in Vincent’s Memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
