Obituary for Susan M Huckemeyer Susan M Huckemeyer, 56, of Huguenot passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn on January 28, 1962, she was the loving daughter of Margaret and the late Curtis Lally. Susan was the beloved wife of Raymond.
They were married for 25 years. Together, they have two daughters, Megan and Devyn. Her children were her pride and joy.
She loved to spend time with them and their relationships only grew fonder as time went on. Aside from being a loving wife and mother, she was an incredible daughter to her Mother Margaret, and a beloved sister and friend. She was always there to help anyone who was in need.
Susan enjoyed listening to music and shopping with her family. Family vacations and trips to Wildwood Beach and the Jersey Shore were among the moments that will be cherished forever, as they were some of her favorite times. Susan is survived by her husband Raymond, two daughters Megan and Devyn, soon to be son-in-law Joe, niece Kelly, twin sister Linda, brother-in-law Ronnie, siblings Thomas, Shaun, Kevin, Brian, Elaine and Maureen, and many fond brothers and sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, and Wednesday June 20, 2018 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Child Church on Thursday June 21, 2018, 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
