Obituary for JoAnn Tauer JoAnn Tauer, 49 of New Springville passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at home. Born Thursday, July 11, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Josephine (Giglio) DiMartino and the late Mario DiMartino. A Home Maker, JoAnn devoted her life to her husband and children.

In her free time JoAnn liked watching TV, movie nights with her husband and shared her passion for cooking with her family. Beloved wife of 30 years to Richard Tauer. Loving mother of Richard Tauer, Nicholas Tauer and Matthew Tauer.

Dear mother-in-law of Dorottya and Becca. Devoted sister of Sal DiMartino, Angela DiMartino and Cathy DiMartino-Bellantoni. Cherished grandmother of Mia Tauer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday at Our Lady of Pity Church located at 1616 Richmond Ave. Staten Island, New York 10314. Private Cremation to Follow.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
