Obituary for Marilyn O’Reilly Marilyn O’Reilly(nee Dowling), 90, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Richmond University Medical Center. She was the beloved wife to her husband Martin. Marilyn and Martin were married on July 31, 1965, they would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this year.

They resided in Brooklyn before moving to Staten Island in 1970’s. Marilyn worked as a Math Teacher for many years before her retirement. Her last positon was at Fort Hamilton High School.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time at her weekend home in the Poconos and traveling to Florida with her husband. She was a long time member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and a parishioner of St Patricks’ Church. Marilyn is survived by her husband Martin, her nephews Michael and Paul Kuohn, niece Regina Kuohn, two great nephews and two great nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Patrick’s Church located at 53 St. Patrick’s Place Staten Island, New York 10306. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
