Obituary for Donald Rickert Donald Rickert, 79 of Cape Canaveral, Florida formerly of Annadale, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Residence in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Born Sunday, May 14, 1939 in Stapleton, he was the son of the late Arthur Rickert and the late Anna Sullivan Rickert. After attending local schools and SI Community College, Donald married Constance C. Gropp in 1964.

Connie and Donald had two children Kenneth and Jeffrey. The couple maintained a home in Annadale and lived the winter months in Cape Canaveral, FL. Donald served in the Army for 3 years and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.

After the Army Donald joined the FDNY and retired in 1995 as a Lieutenant. Donald and Connie travelled through out the world, and loved taking cruises. Sadly Donald lost his Son Jeffrey in 2005 and his wife Connie in 2010.

Donald moved permanently to Florida in 2012. Beloved husband of the late Constance (nee Gropp) Rickert. Loving father of Kenneth Rickert and the late Jeffrey Rickert.
