Frank’s Obituary Francis Matthew Redmond, Jr of Atlanta died January 10, 2019 He was born May 19, 1940, the son of the late Francis Matthew Redmond, Sr. and Newby Etheridge Redmond. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Guerry Morris Redmond, his children Neal Guth (Andy), Matthew Redmond (Courtney) Meg Teed (Ron) and his grandchildren Andrew Guth, Ginny Guth, Denton Redmond, Patrick Redmond, and Archer Teed. He is preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Bell.

Frank graduated from Marist College and Emory University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He joined the Air Force and was discharged with the rank of Captain. He was a charter member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and worked there until his retirement.

He then joined Johnny Isakson’s first campaign for the U.S. Senate. After the election, Frank worked for the Senator as a field representative from 2005-2019. Frank was Senior Lifetime member of the Piedmont Driving Club.

His funeral will be at the Basilica of Sacred Heart, 353 Peachtree St NE, on Tuesday, January 15th at 1:00 pm. His family asks that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to The Atlanta Humane Society.
