OBITUARY Frank Saldaña Jr. February 1, 1944 – November 10, 2018 Frank (Pancho/Popo) Saldaña Jr. Feb. 1, 1944 – Nov. 10, 2018 Frank Saldaña Jr., 74, of Austin, Texas was called to be with our heavenly Father on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

He fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Dora Saldaña Sr. Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Saldaña, his children Barbara Cantu, Cindy Saldaña and Leonard Saldaña. Grandchildren Tiffany Saldaña, Rick Cantu Jr., Nick (Leti) Colunga, Lorenzo (Vanessa) Colunga, AnnMonique Saldaña, Alexis Colunga and Raquel Hernandez.

Great-grandchildren Lillie and Baby Colunga, Christopher Ray Colunga, Sylvia Santos, Somaya and Adrianne Cantu. His siblings John (Tuyet) Saldaña and Joel Saldaña. Pallbearers will be John Albert Saldaña, Joey Saldaña, Joel Saldaña, Rick Cantu Jr., Lorenzo Colunga and Kakhi Maxwell.

Honorary pallbearers Nicholas and Christopher Ray Colunga ,Rick Cantu Sr. and Jeremy Lopez. His family wishes to thank the staff at Dell Seton Medical Center at UT and all who always treated Frank with dignity and respect. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.

Rosary will recite at 7:00 PM. The funeral for Frank will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 15 at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Road, Austin, Texas 78702. Interment to follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, TX.
