Obituary for Frankie Hill Print Frances (Frankie) Hill passed away on February 13, 2019 at her sister’s home in Semmes, AL after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 25, 1938 in Tallahatta Springs, AL to Fletcher Frank and Anna Kate Hicks Hill. She was a 1956 graduate of Thomasville High School.

After graduation she was employed with Solomon Brothers for many years. Her next employer was MacMillan-Bloedel until her retirement in 1995. After retirement, she worked as a secretary for RSVP for several years.

Frankie was an active member of Midway Baptist Church and held many positions within the church. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, Julia Kate Hill, infant sister, and nephew, Michael Hill. She is survived by 2 brothers, Patrick (Una Rae) Hill of Pine Hill, AL, Robert (Carolyn) Hill of Thomasville, AL; 2 sisters, Catherine (Tom) Varble of Biloxi, MS, Brenda (Ronald) Brown of Semmes, AL; 2 nephews, Thomas Bryan Varble, Ronald Reed Brown, Jr.; 4 nieces, Ellen Hill Pope, Audra Hill Paul, Mechelle Brown Davis, Tonya Brown Anderson, 12 great nephews and nieces, 2 great-great nieces and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Midway Baptist Church from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service with Pastor Steve Trader and Pastor Scott Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Bryan Varble, Reed Brown, Leon Davis, Clint Anderson, Larry Pope, and Teddy Paul. Honorary Pallbearers will be T. J. Varble, Josh Varble, Coleman Anderson, Walt Anderson, Jordan Davis, Logan Davis, Jessie Pope, Jake Paul, Richard Roberts, Monroe Smith, Jack Bishop, Harold Agee, Blanton Reid, and David Fleser.
