Mr. Frankie Leroy Newton, age 66, of Dalton, passed away on September 6, 2018 in Hamilton Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Newton and Billie Ruth Chapman, brother: Kelly Newton and sister: Paula Chapman. Mr. Newton is survived by children: Crystal Schlapa, Stephanie Hunter and Tyler Cowart, grandchildren: Trenton Hunter, Allison and Emily Pugh, one great-grandchild: Zane Parrish, brothers and sisters: Rudy Newton, Eric Newton, Jo Jo Noland, Jackie Hejda, and Bobby Chapman, and step-father: Robert Chapman.

Nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Funeral service for Mr. Frankie Newton will be Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Nolan officiating.
