Obituary for Franklin Lloyd Harris Frank Harris of Bellport, New York, passed away at the age of 81 on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was born to Helen and Everett Sam Harris on March 15, 1937 at Southside Hospital in Bayshore, New York. Frank worked many places including at the Leisure Beach Casino on Fire Island, Kay Jewelers, Patchogue Theater and Island State Bank.

He also helped assemble fly fishing reels and worked for a dance costume manufacturing company. He was an active member of the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce in the 1970’s and 80’s and of the Bellport United Methodist Church in the 1980’s and 90’s. Frank loved his family, friends, gardening, yard work, collecting and watching movies, crime novels, singing in the church choir, having pets, orchids, birds, music, wearing hats, chocolate, pizza and ice cream.

Frank was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Grace May Harris on September 26, 2003. He will be missed by many but most of all by his daughter, Marni Harris, and his grandson, Lucas Lewin.
