Obituary for Fred Barry Geddings Fred Barry Geddings, 73, died Friday, December 07, 2018, at MUSC in Charleston. Born December 1, 1945, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Fred Dewey Geddings and the late Eula Mae Watts Geddings. He was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God and was a self-employed computer specialist.

Survivors include a brother, Alan D. Geddings (Shirley) of NC; personal care aide, Ashley Thomas; great-granddaughter, Madison Thomas; an uncle, Robert Watts, Sr. (Edna); aunt, Ruth Hatfield; four nieces include Katie Hamilton of Sumter; two great-nieces; and three great-nephews. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Donald Watts; a sister, Debra Lucas; a nephew, David Lucas; and a niece. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday at Green Acres Assembly of God with the Rev.
