Decatur ~ Fred Charles Peek, 63, a retired truck driver, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 13, 2018 in Decatur. Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Fred was born on October 8, 1954 to Charlie L.G. and Dortha (Klinglesmith) Peek in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia Sloan and Debra Peek.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Chad Peek and wife Jody of Alvord; his granddaughter, Charlie Peek; his grandson, Callan Peek; his brother, Jerry Peek and wife Dodie of Graford; his sister, LaDonna Peek of Frisco; his brother-in-law, Joe Sloan of New Orleans, Louisiana; his nephews, Byron Peek and family, Jeremiah Peek, Joshua Peek and Brant Sloan and family; his niece, Callie Sloan and family; numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
