Fred Darrell Welch September 13, 1929 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Fred Darrell Welch, age 89, of Ocean View died Thursday, February 7, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born in Nicholsville, VA and was the son of the late John Darrell and Dana (Kilgore) Welch. Fred retired from Ryder Trucking and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Lee Welch of Ocean View; his children, Daryl Ann Hartung and husband Rick of Owings, MD, Darrell Gene Welch and wife Judy of Hyattsville, MD and Michael Anthony Welch of Crofton, MD; two sisters, Doris Hartsock and Polly Odel-Horne; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Freddie Welch and a sister, Dormis Skeen. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 12pm to 2pm at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville.
