Fred Horton was born May 6th, 1939 in Greensboro, Alabama to the late parents, James and Rosena Horton. Fred was the seventh child of this union. Fred is preceded in death by his Wife, Beverly; Brothers, James Jr., James, Harry and Henry; Sisters, Carrie, Palace, Julia, Mary, Lillian, Ellen, Emma and Rosena.

Fred married the late Beverly Ann in 1975, the love of his life and graciously helped her raise her three young daughters. Fred worked for the Metro General Hospital in Cleveland, OH where he retired in 1994 after 34 years of service. Fred loved his home, cars, playing his lottery numbers and visiting his family and friends.

He will forever be remembered by sharing comical old stories and the way he respected and treated others. Fred leaves to mourn and cherish his memory three stepdaughters, Pamela Evans (Roosevelt), Rhonda Bonner (Larry), and Angela Bennett (Robert); four sisters, Rebecca Davis of Lorain, OH, Josephine Bishop of Cleveland, OH, Jannie Cameron (Emery) of Washington D.C., and Sarah Dedrick (Eddie) of Lansing, MI; one brother, William Horton of Cleveland, OH; Four grandchildren, Robin Dillard (Duane), Roosevelt Evans, Montez Bonner (Sonja) and Alisha Bonner; nine great-grandchildren and his niece, Daisy Horton, who held a very special place in his heart. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
