Michael Lee Slater “Damn” was born January 6, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of the late James Henry Slater and the late Susie Doss Slater. Michael attended school in Nashville, Tennessee and worked as a mechanic and also worked in construction with his favorite cousin Albert Doss. Michael later moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1973 to join his sister and brother-in-law.

H e continued working as a mechanic and talking on this C.B. radio, playing horseshoes at Woodhill Park. Michael was a good-hearted man and enjoyed talking and being around people and was the life of the party. Michael departed this life on Monday, November 12, 2018, leaving to cherish his precious memories his Sister: Gloria Hall, and Brother: Sylvester McMillan.

Brother-In-Law Marvin Hall, also with a host of Nieces, Nephews Cousins and a magnitude of many many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and sister Denotria. Michael will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
