Robert Ervin Means was born January 7, 1956 to the late Mary Stevenson and John Robert means in Blair, South Carolina. Robert at a young age was baptized at little Rive Presbyterian Church in Blair, South Carolina. In 1965 Mary and Robert Means came to Cleveland, Ohio, and Robert attended Cleveland Public Schools.

Robert graduated from JFK High School in 1975. Robert was a truck driver for Royal Oaks Recycling Company. In January 2000 Robert married Alicia Square.

Robert was an excellent husband and wonderful father. Robert was called to eternal rest Oct. 31, 2018.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his loving and devoted wife, son’s Robert Ervin Easley, Clifford Square; and four grandchildren. Robert also leaves to celebrate his life two sisters Sylvia (Latoya Means) and Patricia Means (Mary & Devon Means) and nephew Mandrell Means who preceded him in death in 2008. Sister- In -Law Suzette (Bruce) Terri (Anthony) Brother In Law Kevin, Fidel and Mother In Law Johnnie Martin, Loving godson Raymel Ryan And a host of Nieces & nephews.

Robert also leaves to celebrate his life his aunts Shirley, Gladys, Doris, Joyce, Uncles Freddie and Lawrence Means. Viewing Friday November 9, 2018 at GAINES FUNERAL HOME 9116 Union Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44105. Funeral service will be held Saturday November 10, 2018 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 10250 Shaker Blvd.

Cleveland, Ohio 44104. Family will receive friends at 9:00 AM funeral service to follow at 9:30 AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
