Obituary for Fred S Card, III Fred S. Card, III, 73 of Columbus passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Kobacker House with his loving family by his side. Fred was born in Patuxent River, MD on January 23, 1945 to the late Fred S., Jr. and Elsie (Rasanen) Card. Fred graduated from Norview High School in Norfolk, VA and was active in the restaurant business for over 55 years; retiring from Wasserstrom and Sons as a Sales Representative.

He was a member of Columbus Sail and Power Squadron, Sea Gals. Fred was beloved by his family and friends; known to his grandchildren as the “fix-it Papa”. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his Thunderbird and attending his grandchildren’s events.

Surviving is his wife Mary (Flaherty) Card; children, Wendy (Joe) Schollaert, Robert (Shelley) Card, Kristi (Donovan) Weaver, grandchildren; Lauren (Paul) Batt, Brian Schollaert, Nathan Schollaert, Logan Card and Riley Card. Family will receive friends on Sunday November 11, 2018 from 1 PM until the time of service at 3 PM; officiating Pastor Randall Forester, in the Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell. 450 W. Olentangy Street, Powell, OH 43065.
