Obituary for Fred S. Durrett Fred S. Durrett, 63, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Fred was born to Martha (Moore) Larkins on June 12, 1955 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Northwest High School in 1973.

He married Debbie (Adams) Durrett on July 19, 1980. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie Durrett of Mooresville; a loving son, Zach (Lisa) Durrett of Franklin; a loving daughter, Ashlee (Jason) Drake of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Landon, Dakota, Beckett, Jaxston and Scarlett; and a brother, Wilbert Durrett. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Moore) Larkins.

Fred was a Service Technician for Coca-Cola for 23 years, retiring in 2018. He also worked for the family business, Pride Vending for 15 years. He loved camping, fishing and was a total sportsman.

He especially loved coaching and spent many years at Carson Park in Decatur Township. Although he lived in Indianapolis for most of his life; he lived in Mooresville for the past 17 years. Family and friends may show their love and support from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, December 2nd and 10-11 a.m. on Monday, December 3rd at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.

There will be an 11 a.m. celebration of life service for Fred at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 3rd at Jones Crossing.
