Frederic A. “Fred” Keysor, 83, of Springfield, passed on to his heavenly Father on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. Fred was born on October 12, 1935 in Oak Park, IL the son of Harold Clark Keysor and Irene (Bell) Keysor. Fred was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Springfield.

He moved to Springfield in 1967 and retired from the Comptroller’s Office at the State of Illinois as a systems analyst. Fred attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charles Keysor.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Keysor; two daughters, Kristine Barnett and Vicki (John) Hall both of Springfield; two granddaughters, Carole (Shawn) Keysor-Forler of Canton, GA and Emily (Trent) Nolen of Sikeston, MO. Graveside services will be held at Rochester Cemetery at a later date.
