Fredrick J. Entenman March 21, 1931 – May 12, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Fredrick J. “Fritz” Entenman, age 88, of Edon, Ohio, passed away at 1:46 P.M. on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where he was a patient. Mr. Entenman was a graduate of Edgerton High School and served in the United States Army in an Engineer Aviation Battalion. He was employed by Isaac Corporation as a truck driver and crane operator, retiring with twenty-six years of service.

He also had worked at Mohawk Tool, Edon Farmers Co-op and Simpson Industries in Edon. Fritz was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and Edon American Legion Post #662. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Fredrick J. Entenman was born on March 21, 1931, in Lyons, Ohio, the son of Paul and Alisa (Fuller) Entenman. He married Wilma F. Holthues on August 5, 1953, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Edon and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, Michael (Dana) Entenman, of Bryan, Randy Entenman and Tony Entenman, both of Edon, and William “Bill” Entenman, of Kendallville, Indiana; one daughter, Ila Derks, of Edon; two brothers, Arthur Entenman and Fay Dean (Linda) Entenman, both of Edgerton; two sisters, Norma Johnston, of Edgerton, and Louise Weimer, of Auburn, Indiana; eight grandsons, Vaughn, Justin, Andy, Daniel, Jemiah, and Joshua Entenman, Matt and Allen Johnson; one granddaughter, Christina Wofford; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin, Edwin, Alvin and Richard Entenman; three sisters, Pauline Entenman, Ruby Ross and Helen Gifford; two great-grandsons; a nephew, Stephen Entenman; and a niece, Paula Freshwater. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Services will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 16, 2019, with Reverend Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, with grave side military rites conducted by Edon American Legion Post #662 and the United States Army Honor Guard. Memorials are requested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
