Obituary of Fredrick E Welsh Mr. Fredrick E. Welsh, 77, of Erie, formerly of Titusville, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Erie VA Medical Center, where he lived for eighteen years. He was born in Oil City on November 17, 1941 to the late William H. and Ferne Bumpus Welsh. Fred was a graduate of Townville High School, class of 1960.

He was a veteran of the United State Army. Fred enjoyed watching western shows, Elvis Presley, horses and dogs, and was always up for some good joking. He was a wonderful uncle and meant the world to his family.

He is survived by a sister in law, Joyce Welsh of Union City; four nieces and nephews, Tammey Bloss and husband Calvin of Cambridge Springs, Bruce E. Welsh, Jr. and wife Louanne of Waterford, Kimberly Dighe of Virginia, and Timothy Welsh of West Virginia. Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and William Welsh. Friends and family may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Friday, March 8 from 6 to 8 PM, and Saturday, March 9 from 12 to 2 PM, at which time the service will be held with Pastor Jim Cannistraci officiating.
