OBITUARY Gail Johnson November 21, 1938 – December 12, 2018 Gail Johnson, 80, of Texarkana, AR formerly of Strong, AR, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was born November 21, 1938 in Union County, AR. Gail formerly owned a television repair store in Strong and was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was an artist and enjoyed painting, sewing, and crafts. Preceding her in death are her father, Pruitt Stanley; mother, Catherine Hester Stanley Boggs; husband, Jackie Johnson; brother, David Stanley; and sister, Helen “Mickey” Humberd. Survivors include her son, Richard Johnson (Delilah); grandson, Christopher Johnson; great granddaughter, Nora Johnson all of Texarkana, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Tommy Nash officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Sweet Home Cemetery in Strong under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. An online guest registry will be available at www.
