Gail A. Plaisted, age 91, passed away on January 21, 2019 in Springfield, OR. Gail was born to John and Eva (Irwin) Coven on February 19, 1927 in Dubuque, IA. After graduating from Eugene High School, she went on to attend Whitman College.

In 1950, Gail married Wendell E. Plaisted. Together they enjoyed 36 years of marriage. Gail was preceded in death by her husband Wendell.

She is survived by children Frank Plaisted, Dan Plaisted, Tim Bernath-Plaisted, Cecile Haworth, Terry Plaisted, and Annette Owen; siblings Ted, Spiros, and Steve Coven; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 4810 Willamette Street in Eugene, OR 97405. Reception to follow.
