Gale H. Smith of Brookhaven, Mississippi December 28, 1937 – February 10, 2019 Funeral services for Gale H. Smith will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Smith, 81, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 28, 1937 in Bogue Chitto, MS, to Delos M. Hart and Fannie Mae Smith Hart. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and keeping her family in line.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Preceding her in death were her parents, Delos and Fannie Mae Hart; husband of 61 years, John Wesley Smith; sister,Dorothy Hutson. Survivors are her sons, Eddie Smith and wife Tammy and Wendell Smith and wife Cammi; daughters, Vicky Kyzar and husband Mark and Cindy Barlow and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Jenny Sadler, Adam Smith and wife Christina, April Scroggs and Husband Jacob, Joshua Kyzar, Tyler Smith, Hailey Merritt and husband Daniel, Drake Barlow and Gavin Barlow; great grandchildren, Caden Izard, Amarie Izard and Addison Sadler, Kirsten Scroggs, Emma Claire Kyzar, Declan Kyzar, Brayden Merritt, MaKayla Merritt and Isla Smith; and a host of family and friends.
