Galie “Lou”‘s Obituary Lou Gold passed away to join her heavenly father in the early hours of 1-12-2019 at the age of 103 years and 18 days. She lived a very simple life living on a farm with her husband, Vernon, of more than 50 years and raising three children. She enjoyed her hobbies of crochet and quilting and spent many hours on these hobbies.

She also enjoyed fishing and playing a card game of Hand and Foot with friends and relatives. Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, five brothers, and two sisters. She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary and one grandson, Mark, one great grandson, Joshua, and one great granddaughter, Samantha.

She is survived by son Jack and wife Joyce Gold and daughter Jean Smith; grandchildren Billy and wife, Patti Willis, Steve and wife, Deanna Smith, Dawn Smith and husband, Ken Terry, Sharon and husband Don Buendel, and Carol and husband, Steve Viken. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-granddaughter. Graveside Services to be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, 18th day of January, at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.
