Gary Dale Adams, age 64, of Cookeville, passed away suddenly Sunday morning February 24, 2019 at his home. Gary was born April 5, 1954 in Cookeville to the late Joe Walter Adams and Anna Elise Carter. He was employed at Perdue Farms in Monterey for over 26 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Joanna Adams of Gainesboro; son, Jimmy Adams of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Austin (Carrigan) Adams of Morgan County, TN, Maggie and Shelby Adams both of Cookeville; and great-grandson, Jase Adams. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday February 28 at Dyer Funeral Home. Rev.

Tim Miles will officiate. Interment will follow at Smellage Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. and again Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
