Gary Dwain Baker, 68, resident of Eldorado passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the VA Medical Center in Marion. Gary was born October 20, 1950 in Rosiclaire to the late Willard Baker and the former Opal Irene Davis who survives. Gary served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired welder working in the local coal mines for most of his life. He attended Little Chapel Church in Raleigh. Gary is survived by his mother: Opal Hubbard of Elizabethtown, a daughter: Blair (Shannon) Deuel of Eldorado, two sons; Adam and Aaron Henson of Eldorado, four brothers: Larry (Connie) Baker, Monte Baker, Marty Baker and Terry Hubbard, a sister: Tami Hubbard, five grandchildren: Jeremiah Henson, Nolan Henson, Kaiden Henson, Jaaron Henson and Ridge Henson and several nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes, Gary will be cremated and a private service and burial will take place at a later date. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent the family via the website www.
