Memorial service for Gary L. Turner, 58, of Hillsboro, who died Sunday at his residence will be a private family service. Mr. Turner was born on August 9, 1960 in Kalamazoo MI, to his parents, Gary Lynn Turner and Sandra Kathleen Wilson Turner. Gary was a 1978 graduate of West Morgan High School.

He was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church. Gary was a long-haul truck driver for over 25 years. He received many safe driving awards for no tickets or accidents.

Gary loved music. He started playing in local groups at the age of 13 and this was something he passed down to his sons. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and rooting them on at any activity they pursued.

He was preceded in death by: His parents Son – Brandon Turner Sister-in-law – Lisa Turner Brother-in-law – Joey Swindle He is survived by: Wife – Adonna M. Turner Sons – William Turner (Erika) & Lynn Turner (Amber) Brother – James Turner Grandchildren – Reuben, Tori, Mary Kate, & Victoria Mother-in-law – Joann Eddings-Damron Sister-in-law – Lynn Lindley Brother-in-laws – Bobby Swindle (Amanda) & Sherman Allen (Connie) Nephews & Nieces – Chris, Sabrina, Joey, Shannon, Lucas, Alex, Bryan, Katie, Nathan, & Tristan Great Nephews & Nieces – Janiyah, Braiden, Miken, Macon, Grayson, & Gracie Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins In leu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Hospice of The Valley.
