Gary Lee Pletcher of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, while under the care of the Genesis Morrison House. He was 48 years old. Gary was born in Zanesville on February 12, 1970.

He is the son of the late Cyril and Gladys (Jones) Pletcher. He worked at the Longaberger Factory as a Wood Crafter, Weaver, and Stainer. He also delivered pizza for Poppa Johns for years.

Gary is survived by his wife Nancy (Rimel) Pletcher whom he married on January 3, 2004; his children including Steven Pletcher, Sheyann Gregory Pentz, Donald Gregory, Sr., Shawn –Douglas Pletcher, Dakota Filkill and Carrie Colburn; his 8 grandchildren; his siblings including , Cyril Pletcher Jr., Tim Roberts, Earl Pletcher, Pat Brassfield and Darlene (Bob) Mason, as well as his aunt, Vickie Long, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, including Donna Lee Barker, Gary is preceded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth (Eddie) Novaria and Diane Kennedy as well as three grandchildren. A caring cremation will take place by the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
