Gary Shriner, 64, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home in Tuscumbia, Missouri. He was born January 22, 1954 in Akron, Ohio the son of the late Donald E. and Mary Ann (Yager) Shriner. On July 2, 1985 in Dixon, Gary was united in marriage to Louise (Beal) who resides in the home.

Other survivors include, Five Children, Adam Shriner (Jean) of St. George, KS; Abby Whitesell (Nathan) of Holton, TN; Bobby Beal (Melissa) of Dixon, MO; Donnie Alexander of Dixon, MO; Tina Edwards of Dixon, MO Granddaughter, Carlea Kloeppel (Chase) of Dixon, MO along with fourteen other Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren Brother, Bruce Shriner (Mary Kay) of Akron, OH Two Sisters, Vicki Smith of Tuscumbia, MO; Karen McDonald of Phoenix, AZ Numerous Nieces & Nephews and other family and friends. Gary was retired military and also retired from the state of Missouri. He was a member of the Shriner’s Organization, Masonic Lodge 410 of Iberia, MO, AMVETS 108 of Rocky Mount, MO, and of the Eldon VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, MO.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Shriner. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.

Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO with Chaplain Derry Gibson officiating. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested In Care of the Family.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
