OBITUARY Geneva Rae Stevens August 24, 1939 – December 5, 2018 Geneva “Rae” Stevens passed from this life on to her eternal home on December 5, 2018 in Frisco TX with loved ones at her side. Geneva was born August 24, 1939 to Lois Clifford (born in Lickskillet, GA) and Katherine Estelle Stroupe Howell. She is the second child of twelve siblings.

Rae graduated high school and worked as a waitress and bartender to support her family. She loved her six children and raised them alone after her divorce in 1976. Rae loved her nine grandchildren, her daddy and mother, her Chihuahua “Itsy Bitsy’ and her Cockatree “Rooster”.

Rae attended Eylau Baptist Church in Texarkana. She enjoyed nothing more than being around her family. Rae loved to cook, sing, and loved country music especially Conway Twitty and Hank Williams.

Her favorite movies were “Gone with the Wind” and “Tombstone”. She enjoyed painting ceramics, the color pink, magnolias flowers, everything Victorian style, and collecting figurines. Rae was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Kathryn; her siblings, Juanita Harrison, Jackie Howell, Billy Howell, Dennis Howell, Betty Howell and granddaughter Crystal.

She is survived by her children; Carrie (John) Gateff of Frisco, TX; Wendell Johnson of Frisco, TX; Connie (Bob) Ballard of Douglassville, TX; Therise (Wes) Dorris of Hemphill, TX; Marty Johnson of Frisco, TX; John Loyce Johnson of Texarkana, TX; and her Grandchildren; Jennifer, Jessica, Miles, Tristin, Dylan, Clint, Ericka “Stormy”, JR, Taylor, Luke and her Great Grandchildren; Madelyn, Chloe, Paytin, Ian, Timmy, Tabitha, Pheobie, Michael and her siblings; Jerry Valentine, Brenda Tallett, JR Howell, Buckie Howell, Denetta Wickle, Denise, and Pat Buehler. Rae was loved while she was with us here on earth, and will be continued to be loved through time and all eternity. She will be missed.
