Obituary for Geneva Tarrant Carnley FORT WORTH-Geneva Tarrant Carnley, 94, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Geneva was born March 16, 1924, and grew up in Larue, Texas in Henderson County to parents, Verna Frank Tarrant and Imer Steele Tarrant, who are both now deceased. She worked for many years at Swift & Company in Fort Worth, where her husband, Troy Carnley, was also employed.

Subsequently, she worked for MPI from where she retired. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Cecil Carnley; her sisters, Inez Luckie (George), Rachel Ford (Buford), Othell Powell (Doug); and her brother, Lester Tarrant (Ruth). Survivors: Daughter, Kay “Kitty” and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Alex Vickers, Robin Vickers and Nicholas Vickers; sister, Jozelle Mackey (Tommy, deceased); and many nieces and nephews.
