Genevieve T. (Gimiliano) DelVecchio, age 90, of Clairton passed away with her children by her side on Friday, March 15, 2019. Born June 16, 1928 in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late Guilio and Frances (Garcia) Gimiliano. Genevieve worked at the meat department at the Marraccini’s Grocery Store for 26 years.

She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, former member of the Sons of Columbus Genova Council #6, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo DelVecchio, who passed away on March 31, 2007. She survived by her children Kenneth DelVecchio of Wilkins Township and Diane (Greg) McArchren of Orlando FL; her siblings, Adeline Bodnar of Clairton and Dan Gimiliano of Castle Shannon; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Genevieve was preceded in death by her siblings; Sam, Pete, and John Gimiliano and Nancy Yacavace; and Joe Levat. Friends will be received at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 Fifth Street, Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700), on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 2pm to4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
