Sylvia L. Lerro, age 83 of Liberty Borough, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 in John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport. Born November 3, 1935 in Baldwin, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Miller) Datig. A member of St. Mark’s Parish, Sylvia was the co-proprietor of Jo-Lynn’s Pizzeria in Liberty Borough with her late husband of 49 years, Joseph C. Lerro, who passed away on March 3, 2006.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters Linda (Donald) Chapman of Liberty Borough and Jodi Staab of Elizabeth Twp. ; her grandchildren Jarrett (Melanie), Tony, Shawn (Jackie), Nicole, Tammy (Jeff), and Brittany; her great-grandchildren Ava, Christian, Luca, Vico, Makayla, Gianna, and Sterling; her brother Greg Datig of California; and also many nieces and nephews, especially her nephew Craig Galick who helped immensely with her care. Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 11 AM until a 1 PM Blessing Service in the funeral home with Fr.

Thomas Wagner officiating. Procession and burial will follow to Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

Memorial contributions should be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. , Memphis, TN 38105.
